Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Paradies Lagardère and URW marked the grand opening of P.F. Chang’s on May 16 and 17 on the mezzanine level in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the restaurant’s first West Coast airport location.
LAWA and city officials joined P.F. Chang’s, Paradies Lagardère and URW for an afternoon reception on May 16 featuring a ribbon cutting and performances by lion dancers. Following brief remarks from the partners, attendees enjoyed food and drink from the new restaurant.
Bringing together cultures from around the world is not just about travelers, but also providing a unique dining and retail experience that embraces the diversity of Los Angeles,” said LAWA Chief Experience Officer Barbara Yamamoto. “Today’s opening adds to the variety and quality of what we have to offer our guests who travel through Tom Bradley International Terminal.”
P.F. Chang’s Vice President of Global Marketing Genaro Perez said, “We are so excited to be at the international terminal at LAX—we look forward to serving all of the international guests.”
The following day, May 17, travelers experienced the new P.F. Chang’s for the first time. Stilt walkers in full costume roamed the terminal, and guests received promotional discounts as part of the celebration.
While travelers are able to order P.F. Chang’s favorites like Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Dynamite Shrimp, this LAX location also offers a sushi bar with five exclusive rolls — only available in TBIT.
